what child does this??

just a quick story for you. i know i would have never done this when i was growing up.......but this is just one example of exactly how easy going and laid back my son is! brody woke up at about 6:45 on christmas morning and we woke up to take the dog out at about 7:00. i noticed brody was awake playing in his room so i went in there and he was all excited. i asked him why he didnt wake us up and he said, "why would i wake you up? you were sleeping." i said i know but its christmas. i then started brushing my teeth and getting ready to wake up (even though we had only had about 4 1/2 hrs of sleep). casey came back in from taking the dog out and says brody said we can go back to bed for a little bit. i couldnt believe it! i wasnt sure if i would be able to go back to sleep or not (because i was excited too!). but i was back asleep pretty quickly and woke up at 8:45 to kerrigan waking us up and so began christmas morning! i couldnt believe how patient brody was that he just played in his room for 2 hours on christmas morning until everyone else was awake and ready to go and it didnt seem to bother him one bit! well hope everyone had a great christmas!
